Grief is a particular type of anguish. When we suffer losses, we have a conglomeration of emotional and behavioral reactions. Sometimes we are confused by our experience. Often we feel pressured to hurry up and get over our grief. There are other times we don’t even know what our feelings are related to loss. Grief is a complex process

Are you experiencing any of the following:

  • Profound sadness due to a loss

  • Feelings of anger, apathy or regret

  • Physical symptoms like fatigue, nausea, heart palpitations or weakness

  • Trouble making decisions

  • Feelings of hopelessness

Therapy can help those who grieve receive permission to grieve, take one’s time and fully process through all the stages involved in accepting losses.

You are not alone, help is on the way! While every situation and person is different, there are skills I can teach you to help you navigate through your grief to help you explore what is going on in your life, who or what has been lost and how to get to life on the other side of the pain.
